NTSC, NTSC-JAP, PAL. You needed all three to unlock all game libraries.

In past though it was necessary unless you wanted to buy each region of same game consoles.

Now they have what called blu ray devices so it not needed no more.

Sort of HAWT thing for time modifying region codes to play imports on game consoles locally.

Banned in most of east world now.

In only legal in USA and Some European Countries Now.

oshy @oshy That was once common knowledge in past to repair or modify game consoles, now every one scared or offended by doing such things in future and they whine and complain. Oh you opened up the console and modified region codes or hacked it. Japan even now made it illegal for some odd strange reasoning's now a days. What was once fun and legal in past is now made illegal in future. odd and strange times to be living too with all funny politics in reverse.

@oshy Devices such as game genie, game shark, code breakers, action replay, action replay pro, all common devices for game consoles too. You do not see them no more in future console with hex decimal coding.
